2006 Nebraska Match Play Champion
OMAHA, NE (June 17, 2006) -- Omaha attorney Patrick Duffy secured his first individual state championship Saturday defeating Fremont's John Sajevic 4 and 3 in the finals of the 2006 Nebraska Match Play Championship. Duffy capitalized in the morning 18-hole session claiming a 6 up advantage. Sajevic reduced the deficit to four holes twice in the afternoon but could never close the gap as Duffy claimed the title with par on the 33rd hole.

Open to NGA members only. Limited to low
120 indexes. Format will be 36-holes of stroke play
to
determine a round of 32 match play.
