FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (Feb. 24, 2014) -- The winning performance of Titleist golf balls and golf clubs continued this week across the worldwide professional tours, as three Titleist Brand Ambassadors stepped into the winners' circle.
On the Australasian Tour, Titleist Brand Ambassador Matt Griffin trusted his Pro V1x golf ball and a full bag of Titleist clubs to win in his home state, capturing the Oates Victorian Open with a birdie on the third hole of a sudden death playoff.
In South Africa, it was all Titleist atop of the Dimension Data Pro-Am leaderboard as Titleist Brand Ambassador Estanislao Goya fired a final round 4-under par 68 to rally for a one-shot win and his first South African Tour title.
And at the LatinoAmerica Tour's season opener, Titleist Brand Ambassador David Vanegas captured his maiden victory in his native Colombia, winning the 67th Arturo Calle Colombian Open by three shots after closing with a 2-under-par 68.
With three more wins this week, Titleist’s year-to-date victory count advances to 24 - four times the nearest competitor with 6 and more than all competitors combined.
In total, 3,003 players have teed up Titleist golf balls in competition on the 2014 worldwide professional tours, more than six times the nearest competitor with 477 and more than all competitors combined.

WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP: WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship
Titleist was the top choice in golf balls at the WGC-Accenture Match Play with 33 players in the limited-field event, three times more than the nearest competitor with 11.
Among the 33 Titleist golf ball loyalists, nearly half were full product line brand ambassadors as Titleist also led the field in iron sets (17) and wedges (53).
Titleist Brand Ambassador Victor Dubuisson advanced to the WGC-Accenture Match Play final before dropping a dramatic decision to a birdie on the 23rd hole.
Dubuisson was down by as many as three holes through 12 before rallying to tie in what will go down as one of the most memorable matches in World Golf Championships history. The 23-year old, who finished 6th in last year’s Race to Dubai and recorded a victory at the Turkish Airlines Open, made two consecutive highlight reel up-and-downs on the 19th and 20th holes to extend the match.
Dubisson, who relies upon the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball and all 14 Titleist golf clubs, put a new 913H (21°) in his bag this week to complement his 913D2 (9.5°) driver and 913Fd (15°) fairway metal. He won five matches en route to the final, winning his last three leading to the championship by the score of 1-up.

Titleist Brand Ambassador George Coetzee, who eliminated fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Steve Stricker in the first round and won another match before losing to the eventual champion, put three new Vokey Design SM5 (52°, 56°, 60°) wedges in the bag this week.
Titleist golf ball loyalist Rickie Fowler relied upon the Pro V1x golf ball to win the third place match on the 19th hole
Titleist Brand Ambassador Jordan Spieth (Pro V1x, 910D2 driver, 913Hd hybrid, AP2 714 irons, Vokey Design wedges, Scotty Cameron 009 putter) and golf ball loyalist Louis Oosthuizen (Pro V1x) also reached the quarterfinals, as half the players in the final eight relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

AUSTRALASIAN TOUR: Oates Victorian Open
Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 113 players in the field of 132, compared to 13 for the nearest competitor. In addition, 11 of the 14 players who finished among the top 10 and ties at the event trusted a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball.
Griffin's win at the Oates Victorian Open marks his second on the Australasian Tour, but his first on Australian soil. He also won the 2012 Charity High 1 Open and 2013 SK Telecom Open, both ONEAsia Tour events.
Griffin (Pro V1x, 913D3 driver, 913F fairway metal, 712U utility iron, CB irons, Vokey Design wedges, Scotty Cameron putter) fired back-to-back 4-under-par 68s on the weekend, posting a 7-under 281 total that forced extra holes. He secured the win with a six-foot birdie putt on the third hole of sudden death.
“It’s just great to win at home," Griffin said after the win, "and I’ve been close before and it’s nice to get over the line. To win your state open is huge, aside from that the Australian Open is next."

SOUTH AFRICAN TOUR: Dimension Data Pro-Am
Titleist was the overwhelming top choice in golf balls at the event with 125 players in the field of 168, more than four times the nearest competitor with 24.
Estanislao Goya (Pro V1x golf ball, 913D3 driver, 913Fd fairway metal, MB irons, Vokey Design SM4 wedges, Scotty Cameron GoLo putter) fired a final round 4-under par 68 to rally for a one-shot win over fellow Titleist Brand Ambassadors Lucas Bjerregaard (Pro V1x, 913D3 driver, 913F fairway metal, MB irons, Vokey Design SM4 wedges, Scotty Cameron prototype Concept 1 putter) and Jean Hugo (Pro V1x, 913D2 driver, 913F fairway metal, 913H hybrid, MB irons, Vokey Design SM4 wedges), as well as Titleist golf ball loyalist Keith Horne (Pro V1x).
The final round for the 25-year-old Goya was highlighted by a 31 on the back nine that led to his winning total of 14-under 275.
Goya, who won the European Tour's 2009 Madeira Islands Open, earned an exemption into next week’s Tshwane Open. He also earned an invitation to the World Golf Championships Invitational at Firestone in July.
“It’s my goal to one day play Word Golf Championship events and the majors," the Argentinian said after his victory. "I am very happy to about the opportunity. I’ve never played at Firestone Country Club and now I can’t wait to get there.”

LATINOAMERICA TOUR: 67th Arturo Calle Colombian Open
Titleist was the overwhelming top choice in golf balls at the event with 114 players in the field of 144, more than six times the nearest competitor with 18 and more than all competitors combined.
David Vanegas (Pro V1 golf ball, 913D3 driver, 712U utility 3-iron, MB irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges, Scotty Cameron putter) posted a 17-under-par 263 victory total. His performance included a 9-under 61 on Saturday.
Pro V1x loyalist Andres Echavarria fired a 7-under 63 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 2nd at 14-under 266.
