Jones Cup Junior: Seiple clings to lead
SEA ISLAND, Ga. (Dec. 21, 2013) -- Joshua Seiple followed his first-round 65 with a 73 on Saturday and leads by one shot entering the final round of play at the 2013 Jones Cup Junior Invitational.
Seiple raced out to a four-shot lead on Friday but stumbled a bit in Round 2. His 73 left room for Kyle Sterbinsky to make a run. Sterbinsky shot 1-under 70 to get within one shot entering Sunday's finale.
Taylor Funk and Jonathan Hardee are tied for third, sitting four shots back.

The Jones Cup Junior Invitational follows in the
footsteps of the Jones Cup Invitational. The
tournament features the nation’s top male junior
golfers ages 15-18. The winner of the 54-hole stroke
play competition receives an exemption to
participate
in the heralded Jones Cup Invitational, which
typically
features a diverse international field. Invitations are
typically mailed in September and are based on Polo
Golf Rankings, Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings and
the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Rankings.
