New Orleans Am: Williams prevails
NEW ORLEANS (Oct. 27, 2013) -- Buck Williams fired two straight rounds of 71 to win the 2013 New Orleans Amateur at Lakewood Golf Club.

Williams finished regulation tied with Chris Donaldson (70-72) and Scott Sterbcow, who shot a red-hot 66 to reach the top of the leaderboard, but won in a playoff.

Amateurgolf.com member and Player Staff Program participant Jose Maruri took fourth place after rounds of 72-71, finishing one shot off the winning score.

Open Field and Junior Division entrants must possess a certified USGA Handicap Index of 8.0 or less. The Senior Division requirement is 12.0 or less. Participants must have a permanent residence (where you live the majority of the time) in one of the following parishes of Louisiana – Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Charles, St. Bernard, St. John, Plaquemines or Tangipahoa.
