Kansas Mid-Am Team: Krsnich, Chapman win
MAYETTA, Kan. (Oct. 2, 2013) -- Three perfect days of early fall weather set the scene for the 2013 Mid-Am Team / Senior Team Championships at Firekeeper Golf Course in Mayetta.

In the Mid-Am Team, Wichita's Tyler Chapman and Pete Krsnich led wire to wire and claimed the title after finishing the 54-hole championship at 21-under par 195 total (rounds of 62, 64 and 69). Manhattan's TJ Vilkanskas and Zac Burton finished in the runner-up position at 18-under par 198 total for the three days. The teams of Tyler Shelton & John Hess and Mac McFarland & Jason Buessing finished in a tie for third place six shots off the lead at 15-under par total.

ABOUT THE Kansas Mid-Amateur & Senior Team

Team event with three divisions (Mid-Amateur, Senior, Super Senior). Gross & net scoring for all teams.

54 holes of team stroke play contested over two days. 36 holes on day one, 18 holes on day two. Different format each round. There is no cut.

Daily Formats:
Round One - Shamble
Round Two - Foursomes
Round Three - Four-Ball

Must be a member of the Kansas Golf Association.
