Long Island Mid-Am: Goldstein wins by 2
COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY (Sept. 13, 2013) -- Darin Goldstein fired two straight rounds of 69 to finish atop the leaderboard at the 2013 Long Island Mid-Amateur Championship at Cold Spring Country Club.
Goldstein bested Daniel Abbondandolo by two shots thanks to his opening-round 69. Abbondandolo shot 69 in the second round but couldn't close the gap.
Ryan Hom and Joe Saladino finished tied for third place, five shots back of Goldstein.
