Florida Mid-Senior: Don Bell takes it
NAPLES, Fla. (Aug. 25, 2013) -- Don Bell fired a final-round 70 to seal a one-shot victory over John Wegmann, Thad Hudgens and the field at the 2013 Florida Mid-Senior Championship.

Bell opened play with two straight 69s but trailed Wegmann by two shots entering the final round. Wegmann's 73 was just enough to open the door for Bell to sneak to the top of the leaderboard.

Brian Armstrong was alone in fourth place, firing a 69 in the finale to move up.

ABOUT THE Florida Mid-Senior

For those 40 years of age and above, the Mid- Senior Championship features 54 holes of stroke play over three days. The field will be cut to the low 70 plus ties after 36 holes. Must be age 40 or older and be a member of the FSGA. 54 holes of stroke play, cut to low 70 plus ties after after 36 holes.
