St. Andrews Strathtyrum: Harryvan takes Trophy
ST. ANDREWS, Scotland (Aug. 16, 2013) -- Marit Harryvan topped Karen Marshall, 2-and-1, in the championship match of the Strathtyrum Trophy held at the Strathtyrum Course at St. Andrews.
The pair finished Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, after stroke-play qualifying.
This ladies tournament was first played in 1989 to complement the success of the Eden Tournament and attracts many lady golfers who compete in the same competition format as the men’s event.
The Strathtyrum Trophy, presented by the Cheape family, owners of the Strathtyrum Estate, is awarded to the scratch winner with the Strathtyrum Salver awarded to the handicap winner.

36 hole qualifying scratch and handicap match
play tournament – for lady golfers with a
handicap not exceeding 28 – 102 places.
