Neeley entered the final round of the North
Amateur held at Walnut Creek Country Club's
Pecan Course with a five-shot lead and never
looked back.

under in final-round action and won by 10
shots.
In the South, Soerries won in wire-to-wire
fashion at Kingwood's Deerwood Club.
Soerries
battled wet weather and the field, winning
with a
final-round 77.
TIM HOGARTH WINS LA CITY MATCH
PLAY
Tim Hogarth is the champion of the 2013 Los
Angeles City Championship.
Hogarth, a long time fixture in SCGA and
USGA
events (winner of the 1996 U.S. Public Links
and
finalist at 2011 U.S. Mid-Amateur), defeated
Clayton Yamaguchi, 5-and-4, in Sunday's final
match held at Rancho Park.
Hogarth defeated Michael Brockington in
Saturday's quarterfinals to advance.
Brockington
had held the bracket's No. 2 seed before
falling.
En route to the final match, Hogarth also won
matches over Dylan Neal and Neil Hand.

impressive marging, taking the championship
match 7-and-6.

lead over Stephen Kois into Sunday's final
round.
Kois shot 72 to finish tied for fourth but Kyle
