Syracuse District Am: Dischinger wins 2nd title
MARCELLUS, NY (Aug. 11, 2013) -- Todd Dischinger defeated Connor Salanger 4-and-3 in the championship match at the 2013 Syracuse District Championship.
Dischinger, the No. 7 seed in the 32-man match-play bracket, beat John Clare 5-and-4 earlier in the day to move on to the championship match. It is Dischinger's second district championship title.
Top-seed Josh Rathbun, who shot a 4-under 67 to lead all stroke-playe qualifiers earlier in the week, lost in the first round of match play.
The event was held at Tuscarora Golf Club.
