Chesters, who shot 73 in Round 1, leads local players like Scott W. Fernandez, David Morago, Emilio Cuartero or Borja Virto after Round 2.
The British player is now sole leader with a total of six under par, surviving an afternoon rain shower to enter the third round of the 54-hole event with a three-shot lead.
