Trio leads Oklahoma Stroke Play Championship
NORMAN, Okla. (Aug. 5, 2013) -- Round 1 of the Stroke Play Championship is in the books.
The tournament is being played on August 5-7 at the Trails Golf Club. 72 players started on Monday with a cut to the low 30 and ties after the completion of the second round.
Brendon Jelley, Hayden Wood and Scott Verplank all shot 2-under 68s to take a share of the first-round lead.
Sam Lee is fourth at 1-under.

ABOUT THE Oklahoma Stroke Play
Open to amateurs who are residents of Oklahoma,
or
full time students of an Oklahoma College or
University. Participants must be a member of the
OGA.
Format is 54 Holes of stroke play. There
will be a cut to the low 30 and ties after 36 Holes of
stroke play.
