Austin City Championship: Northington wins by 3
AUSTIN, Texas (Aug. 4, 2013) -- Daniel Northington fired rounds of 66-68-70-70--274 to win by three shots at the 2013 Austin City Men's Championship.

Northington trailed by two shots after Round 1 but made it up with solid rounds the final three days.

Brian Noonan was runner-up, shooting a final-round 67 to sneak into second place.

Justin Williams was third, five back of Northington and one ahead up Jonathan Alden and Grady Bruce. Alden led after Round 1 with a 64.

ABOUT THE Austin City

Tournament expanded to 72-hole stroke play in 2005. All contestants play one round each at Morris Williams and Lions Municipal. After 36 holes, the low 80 and ties or anyone within eight shots of the lead qualifies for the final two rounds at Roy Kizer and Jimmy Clay.
