Csipkes leads Nebraska Amateur
NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. (July 30, 2013) -- Brian Csipkes of Gretna fired 2-under-par 70 to take the first-round lead at the 105th Nebraska Amateur after a rainy Monday at ArborLinks Golf Course.
Csipkes and Rory Doll of Lincoln managed the only subpar rounds of the day, with Doll posting 71. Carson Schaake and Mike Siwa each added 72s, while Greg Stanek, Richard Schneider and Clayton Peterson each carded 73. All of the top seven players played in the afternoon as four competitors posted 74 to lead the morning wave.
Tuesday’s second round starts at 7:30 a.m. The third round is set for Wednesday and the final round will be contested on Thursday. A link to scoring can be found above.
