SAUKVILLE, WI (July 24, 2013) -- Jordan Niebrugge entered the third round of the 112th Wisconsin State Amateur Championship sponsored by CliftonLarsonAllen with a seven shot lead over the nearest competitor. Though he did not have his best game during round three, a 1-under par 71 increased his lead to eight shots heading into the final round on Thursday.

Niebrugge’s third round was up and down all day. His first birdie came on the par 4 fourth hole. A bogey on hole five brought him back to even par for the day before he made birdies on the 8th and 10th holes. The remainder of his round included a bogey on 12, birdie on 14 and bogey on the par 5 18th hole. He is 10-under par heading into the final round.

The low round of the day was turned in by Charlie Danielson, who shot a 4-under 68 and is tied for second place with Robbie Jacobsen at 2-under par.
