Chattanooga Choo Choo: Wolcott leads

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 23, 2013) -- Ole Miss signee Ben Wolcott fired a second-round 1-under 70 to take a two-shot lead after Round 2 at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Invitational.
Wolcott (67-70--137) leads Carson Jacobs of Vanderbilt by two shots.
First-round leader Tim Jackson of Germantown, Ind., shot 75 on Tuesday and sits four off the pace and alone in third. Jackson opened play Monday with a red-hot 66 at Council Fire Golf Club.
The inaugural field is mostly Tennessee and Georgia players, but tournament director Chris Schmidt expects that to change in the coming years as the word about the tournament gets out.
Dustin Smith is fourth after rounds of 68-74--142.
The final round of play in the 54-hole stroke-play event is scheduled for Wednesday.
