Jacksonville Am: Monagle prevails

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (July 21, 2013) -- Colin Monagle shot 73 in the final round to hang on and win the 2013 Jacksonville Area Amateur Championship.
Monagle shot rounds of 72-68-66 to take a lead into the final round and survived A.J. Crouch's 68 on Sunday to win.
Crouch, of the Florida Gators, was alone in second place and the only one in contention to test Monagle.
John Boehme was tied for third with Jamey Salmon at 1-over.

54-hole stroke play tournament with a 36-hole cut to
the low half of the field plus ties. Open to those
players with an
index
of 6.0 or less. There will be a maximum of 78
players
in the
field. The majority of players reside in JAGA’s North
Florida region, with entries accepted from up to 15
players who reside outside the region (in Florida and
elsewhere).
