Hensley wins Okla. Women's Stroke Play

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (June 25, 2013) — Amber Hensley is the 2013 Stroke Play Champion. Hensley won the Championship in a playoff with round one leader, Samantha Stewart. Hensley's win earned her a spot on WOGA's Fore State Team and USGA State Team.

Stewart of Oklahoma City is the sister of the 2012 Stroke Play Champion, Alex Stewart.

ABOUT THE Oklahoma Women's Stroke Play

36-hole stroke play championship for women, mid- amateurs and seniors. Open to all ages of players with a 7.9 handicap index or less. Players age 25 and older and who have a handicap index of 7.9 or less will play in the Mid-Am Championship Division. Players with a handicap index higher than 7.9 in the Mid-Am Division will be flighted accordingly and play a shorter tee. Participants in the Senior Division must be 50 years of age or older.
