CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 15, 2012) -- Carson Young, Pendleton, SC, won the 98th Carolinas Amateur Championship at the Charlotte Country Club in Charlotte, NC.
His final round of 64 was the low score for the four rounds of the Championship.
Third-round leader and defending champion Scott Harvey scored a 72 (1-over par) to finish in second place.
