The Henry Picard - Canterbury Cup is a Major that
draws a field of accomplished players from all
over the country. The three-day team event
features a Best Ball round each day, and the
middle day will have an additional 9-hole
alternate shot (all divisions playing the same nine
holes) that will count toward the 63-hole
championship. A practice round is available to be
played the day prior to the tournament. The
tournament will have three divisions: Mid-Am,
Senior (for those teams with both partners 55 -
64 years old), and Super Senior (65+).
Qualified amateurs are encouraged to apply.
Canterbury is an older traditional golf course that
has hosted several professional major
championships, including two US Opens, a PGA
Championship and most recently the '96 Senior
Open as well as two US Amateur championships.
