The Parent-Child Championship is an alternate
shot tournament with teams consisting of one
parent and one child. Parents may play with as
many as three children, and each team will play
one ball, alternating drives and shots, with
fathers teeing off on odd numbered holes.
Childs will drive on the odd numbered holes.
Gross prizes are given in each of three age
divisions – 14 and under, 15-18 years, and 19
and over. Net prizes under the Callaway
system will be give for the 14 and under age
group, while both Callaway and regular
handicap index prizes will be given for the
other age groups. There will also be a pro-
amateur division with both gross and net
prizes. MSGA membership cards are required
