Austin Ernst, 19, is a sophomore at Louisiana State University majoring in business. In 2011, as a freshman she won the individual title at the 2011 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship. Her final round where she shot one of two 66's in the tournament included her first hole-in-one. Her NCAA victory was the first in LSU women’s golf history and the second of her collegiate career, following the 2011 Central District Invitational. She received first-team All-America honors from the NGCA in 2011 and was named to the Southeastern Conference’s All-Freshman Team and All-SEC second team.

Ernst advanced to the semifinals of the 2011 U.S. Women’s Amateur and has also competed in the U.S. Girls’ Junior. As a junior she was the AJGA Rolex junior All-American in both 2007 and 2009.

Ernst is originally from Greenville, South Carolina.
