StoneGate Golf Club at Solivita is a championship, eighteen hole track designed by architect Ron Garl. Part of the Solvita masterplanned golf community located a short drive south of Orlando, the course opened for play in 2000 and is a typically lush, Florida style design. The layout is generous and open, with a few trees lining the fairways. The undulating greens are large and challenging. Large bunkers are plentiful at StoneGate, but water may prove to be the real challenge as it can affect shots on at least eight holes. With a tees ranging from 5,285 to just over 7,000-yards, and a par of 72, StoneGate can be a long and challenging course.
