SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Baylor Bears coached by three-time national champion coach Mike McGraw have bested the strong 15-team field for the 2nd year in a row at the Oak Hills Invitational.

The Bears entered the final round tied for the lead with Oklahoma and finished five strokes ahead of their Big 12 rival. Senior Andreas Gjesteby and sophomore Matthew Perrine had struggled for Baylor in the first two rounds but came through in clutch with rounds of 69 and 70.

Freshman Braden Bailey, who shot a tournament-low 67 in the 2nd round, held steady with a final-round 73. Sophomore Frederik Andersen rounded out the crew with a final-round 76 and a top 5 individual finish.

The individual title was taken by Lousiana Tech senior Victor Lange. Lange made a final-round rally, shooting a 3-under 68 to force a playoff with Texas State's David Faraudo.

Having lost in a playoff in this event last year, Lange wasn't going to let another one slip by. He ended things quickly, winning the sudden-death playoff on the first playoff hole. This is his 2nd career collegiate win and first for the program since 2013.
