World Amateur: Anthony Baker continues to lead

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — First-round leader Anthony Baker posted 74 during the second round, and will head to the third and final round with a slim one-shot lead over Matt Corbitt.
After Monday's opening round was rained out, players returned to their respective courses at the World Amateur to find wet conditions, where Baker fired his opening round of 70 at International Club on Tuesday.
Corbitt sits in second at 145 (72-73), while Ryan Reynolds holds down third place after posting 69 on Wednesday to come in at 146.
AmateurGolf.com founder Pete Wlodkowski posted 76 in the first round, followed by 74 in the second round and remains six shots back in a tie for ninth place.
The tournament, which hosts around 3,500 golfers each year at more than 40 Myrtle Beach area courses, is in its second year of including a scratch division.
