Three share opening-round Kansas Senior lead
MISSION HILLS, Kan. — A group of players at 2-under par 68 lead after day one of the 35th Kansas Senior Amateur Championship at Indian Hills Country Club in Mission Hills.
Wichita's Tracy Chamberlin, Leawood's Kevin Handlan and Lyons' Tim McKinnis are all tied for the lead in the Championship Division following the first round of play.
Lawrence's Chris Hutchens sits three shots off the pace following a first round 1-over par 71.
In the Super Senior Division, Lawrence's Richard Stuntz holds a three stroke lead heading into the final round on Tuesday. Stuntz's 2-under par 68 is three clear of Wichita's Bill Quattlebaum. Olathe's Dick Landon and Wichita's Joe Rothwell are tied for third with 4-over par 74's and will look to rally in the final round of the Super Senior Division.

Association. 36 holes of individual stroke play with
two
divisions: Championship (any age 50+) and Super
Senior (60+). Players that wish to compete for the
overall championship must enter the Championship
Division. Gross and net champions to be determined
in
each division.
