2015 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball qualifying results
Kathleen Scavo and 12-year-old Lucy Li
Kathleen Scavo and 12-year-old Lucy Li

Qualifying is complete for the inaugural U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball, being held at the Pacific Dunes course in Bandon Dunes May 9-13.

There are plenty of amazing player stories, which we will get to as the tournament draws closer. And, as has become the norm in USGA Women's golf, some VERY young players have shown that age is just a number.

But before you marvel at Lucy Li (age 12, of 2014 U.S. Women's Open fame) and her partner 17- year old Kathleen Scavo's combined age, think of this. At a total of 29 years their total isn't nearly as young as that of 13-year-olds (that's right, both players are 13) Briana Chacon of Whittier, Calif. and Hannah Zeman of Ontario, Calif. The pair posted 70 to qualify last September at Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage, California.

Below is a running total of all qualifying sites and their respective results.

March 30, 2015 | Spring Creek Golf Club | Gordonsville, Va.

In the last qualifying location in the United States, Carrie Myers and Carol Robertson secured the last possible team slot into the inaugural event, shooting 78 and beating out Cindy Thompson and Andrea Miller in a playoff.

March 26, 2015 | Pasatiempo Golf Club | Santa Cruz, Calif.
