Campbell brothers win South Carolina Players Four-Ball
BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (Sept. 14, 2014) — Josh and Neil Campbell shot a second consecutive six under par 66 for a two day total of 132 and a one shot victory in the SCGA Players Four Ball Championship at Columbia Country Club. Brian Kennedy and Scott Smith finished in second place at 133.

With heavy rains and lightning on Saturday, Sunday’s final round was started with half the field starting on hole #1 at their original first round tee time and the other half of the field starting with a shotgun start to finish their first round. The Campbell brothers teed off at 8.40 a.m. and posted their tournament total of 12 under par only to have to wait for the other 41 teams to finish. Their score of 66 proved to be the low round of the day and just enough to grab their first SCGA Championship.

Finishing first in the First Flight were Kevin Driggers and Blake Williamson with a final score of 136. In the Second Flight, there was a three way tie at first and included the teams of Max Fain and Todd Whitehead, Scotty Davis and Jeremy Moore and Kemp Hooper and Bill Smunk at 141.
