Hayward leads by seven in quest for fourth Canadian Senior Women's Amateur

SHERBROOKE, Quebec (August 20, 2014) — Already winner of three Canadian Senior Women's Amateur Championships, Mary Ann Hayward extended her lead on Wednesday to seven shots with a one under-par 71.
Hayward led the event by four shots after Tuesday's first round after she opened the event with a 70. She is the only player to have shot a round under par so far.
Hayward is currently the defending champion, having also won in 2010 and 2011.
Helene Chartrand is in second place with a five-shot lead of her own over three players tied for third place.
