Mexican Nat'l Amateur: Clemens wins
GUADALAJARA, Mexico (June 9, 2013) -- Mario Clemens shot a final-round 70 to win by two shots at the 2013 Mexican National Amateur Championship at Guadalajara Country Club.
After opening with a 69, Clemens shot two straight 65s to gain an advantage. He held on despite a final-round 65 by Carlos Ortiz, who finished second.
Guillermo Silva, who, along with Ortiz, plays out of the host club, shot rounds of 66-68-69-69 to take third place.
