Porteous siezes South African Stroke Play lead
GEORGE, South Africa (Feb. 14, 2013) -- Haydn Porteous, the fourth-ranked player in the Golfweek/amateurgolf.com World Player Rankings, fired a 2-under and siezed the third-round lead at the 2013 South African Stroke Play Championship at Oubaai Golf Club.
Porteous leads a loaded field by two shots entering the final round.
Tied for second place at 8-under is Alejandro Tosti, second-round leader Werner Ferreira and red-hot Brady Watt. Watt, ranked No. 23 in the world, recently placed second at the Master of the Amateurs.
