True Temper rolls to PGA, Web.com tour wins

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Oct. 24, 2012) -- For the third straight weekend, shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper delivered a victory on the PGA TOUR with a win at the McGladrey Classic. The company also celebrated a win at Winn-Dixie Championship, marking the 16th straight win on the Web.com Tour.
Playing Project X in his irons, a former 'Big Break' winner fired an incredible final round 60 at the McGladrey Classic to earn his first PGA Tour victory. He rallied from a seven-stroke deficit on Sunday to overcome a group of front-runners who have collectively had 49 wins, three majors and 17 Ryder Cup teams. On the Web.com Tour, the 23-year-old winner of the Winn-Dixie Championship captured his second victory of the season playing Dynamic Gold. He ranked No. 1 in greens in regulation at the event, and he jumped to third place on the Web.com money list.
