ELGIN, Ill. (Sept. 11, 2012) -- Charlie Waddell fired a 73 to take the top spot at the 2012 Chicago District Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championahip Tuesdy at Bowes Creek Country Club.
Waddell's 73 was two shots better than runner-up B.J. Bohne, who shot at 75.
Rich Balla, Cody Sundberg, Tom Fox and Keith Petri each shot 76 to tie for third.
