Amateur Huston in mix at N. California Open
CORNING, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2012) -- Amateur Joe Huston is three shots off the pace at the 2012 Northern California Open at Bayonet and Black Horse's Bayonet Course.
Huston fired an even-par 72 and is in a pack of eight players tied for sixth place.
They're all chasing leader Brett Viboch, who fired a 3-under 69 to take the first round lead.
Fredrik Palmer, another amateur, is at 1-over after Round 1.
