MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Sept. 5, 2012) -- Project X and Dynamic Gold, designed and manufactured by True Temper Sports, delivered another sweep on the worldwide tours, winning the Deutsche Bank Championship on the PGA Tour, the Omega European Masters on the European Tour and the Mylan Classic on the Web.com Tour.

Including this weekend's events, True Temper shafts have now won 76 tour events on the PGA, Web.com & European Tours this season, a victory total which surpasses the wins of all other shaft manufacturers combined.

At the Deutsche Bank Championship, a 23-year-old from Northern Ireland fended off some of the biggest names in golf to win at the TPC Boston. Playing Project X he fired off an amazing 25 birdies to shoot 20-under par. The win lifted him into first place on the FedExCup standings and strengthened his position as the No. 1 player in the world.

On the European Tour, another Scotsman got the glory playing Dynamic Gold to secure a four-stroke victory at the Omega European Masters. Meanwhile on the Web.com Tour, a first-year player won the Mylan Classic and likely secured his PGA TOUR card with Dynamic Gold in his bag. He finished with a tournament-record 18-under-266 and a very comfortable four-stroke lead.

"The professional tours are the world stage for the best players, finest courses and most technologically advanced equipment in golf," says Chad Hall, director of product marketing and global tour operations for True Temper Sports. "True Temper shafts continue to set the industry's highest standards for consistency and accuracy week after week on golf's global stage."

Truth in Numbers:

• The Deutsche Bank Championship winner's bag: Project 7.0

• European Masters winner's bag: Dynamic Gold X100

• The Mylan Classic winner's bag: Dynamic Gold X100
