Kentucky Sr.: Humphrey edges Sergent
OWENSBORO, Kent. (Aug. 21, 2012) -- The 2012 KSGA Senior Amateur Championship wrapped up Tuesday afternoon at Owensboro Country Club.
Steve Humphrey's final round of two under par 70 clinched the Championship. Humphrey fired an even-par 72 in Round 1 and was among the leaders heading into the final round.
Bill Sergent was second, finishing one shot behind Humphrey at 72-71--143. Steve Cox finished fourth at 144, following up a first-round 74 with a solid 2-under 70 in Tuesday's final round.

Format is 36 holes of stroke play with Senior, Mid-
Senior, Masters, and
Legends
divisions at both gross and net.
Entrants in all KGA tournaments shall be required to
have an active Handicap Index at a Kentucky Golf
Association Member Club at the time of entry and
meet the championship’s residency requirements.
