LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Aug. 8, 2012) -- It's down to eight players remaining at the 2012 Los Angeles City Match Play Championship.When play continues Saturday, the eight quarterfinalists will take aim at the ultimate victory at Rancho Park Municipal Golf Course on Sunday.Andrew Stanfield, the 17th seed following stroke-play qualifying, will take on No. 24 Daniel Yang in a matchup of cinderella golfers.Fourth-seeded Jeff Galloway will take on No. 5 Boris Stanchev in the bottom half of that bracket.Paul McNamara is the No. 2 seed and remains to take on No. 10 Jeff Wibawa.On the bottom of the second bracket, Michael Brockington, the No. 3 seed, will take on No. 11 Wally Gonzalez for a chance to reach the Final Four.
