MEMPHIS, Tenn. (July 10, 2012) -- The all-new Grafalloy White Blue driver shaft exploded onto the world stage this past weekend with an inspired victory at the French Open on The European Tour.

The 2012 French Open champion played the new Grafalloy White Blue shaft in his driver and prevailed in a marathon 36-hole finale that gave him his second career victory on the European Tour. He finished the tournament second in driving accuracy (73.6%) and averaged an impressive 302.1 yards per drive.

"The Grafalloy White Blue is the next generation of the original Grafalloy Blue. It's designed with the same ball flight characteristics, but incorporates the very best of today's new composite material technologies," says Chad Hall, director of product marketing and global tour operations for True Temper Sports. "We unveiled the shaft in May at the BWM PGA Championship, and we obviously didn't have to wait too long to see some very dramatic results. We're extremely excited to see the White Blue win so quickly."

The innovative Grafalloy White Blue features the same tour bend profile as the Grafalloy Blue, but the new design capitalizes on new material technology that uses low resin content and ultra-thin aerospace grade graphite fiber. The result is greater performance for strong players and enhanced stability and feel. The Grafalloy White Blue is slated for availability in late 2012.

Grafalloy has been an industry-leading innovator in graphite shaft technology for nearly two decades, and has produced one of the winningest ultralight shafts in the history of game.
