Paez wins Long Beach City Amateur
LONG BEACH, Calif. (July 8, 2012) -- Nicolas Paez birdied the first hole in sudden death to capture the 2012 Long Beach Men's City Championship. Paez, San Bernadino, carded rounds of 69-67-76--211 to finish in a three way tie with Ronnald Monaco, Rancho Cucamonga, and Brian Campbell or Irvine.
6 players, Pete Fernandez, Jr., Chris McCracken, Ben Heisey, Kyle Nakazaki, Jon Levitt and Scott Alpine all posted 212 for the three day event, missing the playoff by one stroke.

54 holes of stroke play with a cut to low 1/3 of
players for the final round. Championship
