Greystone: Johnson rolls past field for win
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 24, 2012) -- Michael Johnson of Birmingham, Ala. fired a final-round 1-under 71 to finish off a stellar weekend of play and win the 2012 Greystone Invitational.
Johnson used low second (67) and third round (69) scores to inch ahead of the field, ultimately winning by four strokes with a round 10-under total for the event.
Joel Thelen of Marshall, Texas and Trey Mullinax were both tied for second place while Robby Shelton, IV of Wilmer, Ala. shot a four-round total of 3-under to finish alone in third place.
