Bailey, Blonien winners at Texas Oklahoma Junior
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (June 7, 2012) -- Starting his day two strokes off the pace, Brooklin Bailey of Waco, Texas fired a final round 78 to take the Boys' Open division of the Texas Oklahoma Junior by three.
Bailey posted a tournament total 290 (73-68-71-78) while Andrew Duff of Bartlett, TN finished in second place with a 293 (74-72-74-73.)
Miguel Collado of Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico finished tied for third at 295 (77-76-70-72) with Travis Benson of Granbury, TX 295 (74-74-77-70.)
In the Girls' Open division Megan Blonien of Altus, OK, the 2011 champion, finished at 300 (74-74-73-77) and successfully defended taking take the title by a four strokes.
A threesome tied for 2nd at 304; Marla Souvannasing of Tulsa, OK (72-77-76-79,) Ingrid Gutierrez of Coyocos, Morelos, Mexico (73-79-73-79) and Ali Renea Cowan of Victoria Texas (78-79-69-78.)
