JiaXin Yang wins the FCWT Girls' Title

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla (May 28, 2012) -- JiaXin Yang of Beijing, China followed up her second round of 69 on Sunday with a 2-over par 74 on Monday to capture the FCWT Laura Diaz Girls' National championship title.

Yang carded a 214 (71-69-74,) two strokes ahead of Anna Sophia Bohmer of Colombia 216 (74-71-71) and nine ahead of Karen Arimoto of Japan who finished up at 223 ( 74-71-78.) Miss Arimoto was named the Girls FCWT Player of the Year on Friday night.

ABOUT THE FCWT Girls National Championship

Girls' championship of the Future Collegians World Tour (FCWT) series of junior tournaments. Format is 54 holes of stroke play. Must be FCWT member. Players are eligible, if they have not yet graduated from high school and are 11-19 years of age or if they have not yet reached their 19th birthday and are not currently enrolled in college.
