Nathan wins Illinois State Mid-Am
FLOSSMOOR, Ill. (May 16, 2012) -- Kyle Nathan of Chicago prevailed with a one-shot victory at the 20th Illinois State Mid-Amateur Championship at Flossmoor Country Club.
Nathan led after two rounds and, despite a 76 in the final round, edged Glenn Przybylski of Frankfort, Ill., the runner up, by one shot.
Edward Roderique of Peoria, Ill., Dave Ryan of Taylorville, Ill. and John Ramsey of Glenview, Ill. rounded out the Top 5, respectively.

ABOUT THE Illinois Mid-Amateur
Open to mid-amateurs age 25 and older who are
resident of the state of Illinois. Qualifying is required
for those who do not meet the exemption criteria.
Format is 54-holes of stroke play with the low 35
and
ties advancing to the final 18-holes.
