Titleist commonly finds itself in the winner's circle week in and week out but this past weekend's victory at the Valero Texas Open was the first of its kind.

Ben Curtis took home his first title since 2006 and it also marked the first win on the PGA Tour for Titleist's AP1 irons. While most Titleist brand ambassadors play the company's irons, they tend to opt for the AP2 model.

The AP1 irons Curtis used this past weekend offer players a bit more forgiveness and higher trajectory than the complimentary AP2 irons.
