Whisper Rock Nat'l Invitational: Bendetti, Stickland second round leaders

A lot of red on the leaderboard today as 19 teams shot sub-par rounds in the Mid-Am flight

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (April 18, 2012) -- After the second round of the Whisper Rock National Invitational, the duo of Joe Bendetti and Jim Srickland sit at the top of the Mid-Am leaderboard. They fired a second round 64 and are at 11-under par 133 (69-64) for the tournament. Sitting three strokes back in second place is Corey Fisk and Warren Vickers at 8-under par 136 (69-67). First round leaders Alex Bueckling and Jon Lindstrom are in a tie for 5th at 6-under-par 138 with Kevin Boscamp and Mike Modano. In addition to the leaders two other teams shot 64's today. They were Dan Horner and Tim Mickelson and Billy Burke and Matt Roth. Twenty teams made the cut for the Mid-Am flight at even par. Jerry Hudgins and Mike Rice lead the senior flight at 7-under-par 137 (66-71), one stroke ahead of Jim Knoll and Dan Luther 138 (67-71.) The super senior cut was at 1-under-par. Twenty-two teams survived the cut.
