MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The 2012 champions of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the Dubai Desert Classic both relied on Project X shafts this weekend to overcome fields full of the world's top ranked golfers.

Playing Project X, the four-time AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am champion scored six birdies and an eagle on Sunday for a dramatic come-from-behind victory, chalking up the 40th win of his career.

Meanwhile on the European Tour, the champion at the Dubai Desert Classic played Project X steel in his irons and wedges, and Project X graphite in his driver, 3- and 5-woods. In addition, the second-place runner-up played the new Project X Black in his driver, and he wasn't alone - there were 13 players with Project X Black in play at Dubai this weekend.

"Two wins on two professional tours in one weekend is a strong statement for Project X shafts, and we are particularly pleased with the stellar performance of the new Project X Black shafts which are already making a significant impact on tour," says Chad Hall, director of product marketing and global tour operations for True Temper Sports. "The new Project X Black uses a revolutionary material, TexTreme, to drive its Dual Torsional Control technology. This technology allows to us to create ultra light shafts capable of explosive distance while maintaining the stability required by the game's best players."

In addition to the win, shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper captured all Top 10 money positions at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and True Temper dominated the shaft count with 134 sets in play.
