True Temper's Dynamic Gold shafts won the dramatic Waste Management Phoenix Open

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Feb. 7, 2012) -- True Temper's high-performance Dynamic Gold and Project X shafts provided power, consistency and accuracy right down to the dramatic winning conclusion of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. One week after coming in second at the Farmers Insurance Open, this week's 24-year-old champion overcame an eight-stroke deficit and shot a bogey-free 65 on Sunday to finish at 15-under 269. He scored 79.2 on Greens in Regulation to earn his first PGA TOUR victory, playing Project X in his irons and Dynamic Gold in his wedges. "Many of our shaft models - from Dynamic Gold to Project X steel and graphite - delivered clutch performances and more than 40 victories during the 2011 PGA TOUR season, and we're very excited to see that success continuing in 2012," says Scott Hennessy, president and CEO of True Temper Sports.
