MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Oct. 4, 2011) -- One week after dominating the TOUR Championship and winning the FedExCup, shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper Sports continue to demonstrate industry leading performance. Dynamic Gold won the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open on the PGA Tour and the Dunhill Links Championship on the European Tour, while Project X shafts took the victory at the WNB Golf Classic on the Nationwide Tour.

The 28-year-old winner at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, trusted Dynamic Gold to shoot 27 birdies, including a 42-foot birdie putt on 17, to capture his first PGA TOUR victory. Additionally, True Temper shafts were played by all Top 10 money winners at the PGA and Nationwide tour events this weekend.

"This year, True Temper shafts have won all four major titles and chalked up more wins than all other shaft manufacturers combined, and it is always exciting to see a player capture his first victory on the PGA TOUR playing True Temper shafts," says Scott Hennessy, president and CEO of True Temper Sports. "For more than seven decades, True Temper has designed and engineered golf shafts to give players the ultimate game performance, and the Timberlake Shriners tournament was a great example of that."

There were 115 sets of True Temper shafts in play during the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, while the nearest competitor fielded just 13 sets. With this weekend's three victories, True Temper's total win count for the season reaches 86 tournaments.

Dynamic Gold is preferred by skilled players seeking a low, penetrating ball flight. The shaft features an internal tip reinforcement technology and tighter weight sorting tolerance for precision custom fitting. Dynamic Gold shafts are available in tapered and parallel irons and parallel woods.

The Project X line of shafts are proven winners in both steel and graphite. The straight taper and short tip section of the Project X iron shafts provides maximum energy transfer with low spin rates required for penetrating iron shots.
