MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Sept. 22, 2011) -- Project X Graphite once again delivered unparalleled distance and accuracy for a win at the BMW Championship at Cog Hill. The victory marked the 43rd global tour win for the shaft since its recent introduction.

The BMW Championship winner trusted Project X in his driver, 3-wood and 4-wood to hit 75% of the fairway and averaged 299.6 yards for his drives. The win secured him a trip to the TOUR Championship and a jump to third in FedExCup points.

"This season, Project X Graphite has won 20 global tour events and we have on average over 100 in play each week," says Scott Hennessy, president and CEO of True Temper Sports. "We are excited to see our innovative Project X continue to deliver winning performances at tournaments around the globe. The Project X graphite shafts are precision-engineered to integrate multiple technologies that deliver longer carry, increased rollout and consistent performance, and this weekend was no exception."

The BMW Championship victory joins an impressive list of 2011 wins for Project X graphite, including The Open Championship and The PGA Championship.

The Project X line of shafts are proven winners, including the newest addition - Project X graphite - which quickly established itself earlier this year as the premier graphite shaft in the game today. Featuring superior cross-sectional stability and a revolutionary spin-reducing tip, this next generation of Project X delivers longer carry, increased rollout and laser-guided trajectory.
