New Mexico-West Texas Sr.: Reardon beats field, harsh weather
SANTA FE, N.M (Aug. 30, 2011) -- The difficult conditions of Las Campanas bogged down play during the final round of the 2011 New Mexico-West Texas Senior Amateur Championship. Ten minutes after the final scorecard was posted the lightning sirens blared at Las Campanas. But there was plenty of time for Chuck Reardon of Albuquerque, N.M. to card six birdies en route to fire a final round 69 and claim the title by two shots over Mike Quinlan.
In the Women's division, Susan Daniels adds the Senior Women's Championship to her regular Women's title from 2008.
